When you hire Castle Goring for your event, wedding, or for a filming location, you hire a venue like no other.

Within your package includes the use of our many grand rooms. Our beautiful Ceremonial Hall which seats 100 for wedding ceremonies, our State Dining Room with its table from Buckingham Palace, is perfect for grand entertaining, our interconnecting State Rooms our ideal for receptions or networking, and our lawns or adjoining land with the backdrop of Castle Goring are much sought after for holding outdoor weddings and social events.

From dancing in the Entresol to formal business meetings, when you hire Castle Goring you hire a venue that is truly breath taking.

Summer:

Disabled lift/toilets.

Monday to Thursday venue hire: £1,950 + VAT

Friday & Sunday venue hire: £2,950 + VAT

Saturday & Bank Holiday Sundays venue hire: £3,900 + VAT

Optional Percy and Mary Shelley Bridal Suite: £175 + VAT

Ceremony: £260 + VAT

Wedding Ceremony/Castle Decoration: POA

Winter:

The Grand Marquee

As of January, 1st 2024 all new hire bookings for events exceeding 50 persons dining include the free use of the Grand Marquee on the South Lawn.

The marquee is set up from Spring until October with seating and tables for 150 guests but can seat 180 comfortably by hiring additional furniture. The room consists of round tables plus the top table and is carpeted.

Ceremonial Hall

The Ceremonial Hall can be hired by itself for use for ceremonies or meetings. Seating is available for up to 100 persons.

Monday to Thursday only:

Morning or Afternoon: £600 + VAT

Morning and Afternoon: £1000 + VAT

Ceremony: £260 + VAT

Optional decoration for ceremony: POA

Catering

The Castle has a preferred caterer working out of the Castle’s kitchens. Catering and bar is not included in the venue cost. External caterers can be accommodated for a fee if a non- European menu is required.
